Harmony is a fat quarter pattern based on a tri-color layout. Haley helped me select the 12 primary fat quarters for her quilt, as well as the sashing, corner stones and borders. It was so much fun to sift through the fat quarter bundle with her and hear her reaction to the different colors and prints. Now if I could just get her to sew with me, I\’d be in heaven!
Here is a photo of my original Harmony quilt that I introduced to you in April, sewn up in one of my all-time favorite Fig Tree collections: Coney Island. The original Harmony quilt has found a home with our beautiful niece who lives in Colorado.
I\’m also working on a Harmony quilt for another niece who is getting married in June! This version of Harmony combines some lovely prints from Fig Tree & Company and Bonnie & Camille, both for Moda. I can already see this is going to be a very happy quilt, and I certainly hope it brings happiness to the bride and groom.
