Patchwork Quilt Along: Quilted, bound and ready for spring!

The weather is glorious in Minnesota today, so I took my Patchwork Quilt Along quilt on a little walk-about in my yard, attempting to take some pretty photos to share with you. It\’s a bit tricky when the sun is shining full force, but I found a protected spot on my front porch and snapped a few pictures.

I shared my completed top and pieced backing with you in December and then sent the project off to my friend and long-arm quilter Barb at Quilts on Broadway. We choose a soft and swirly loop-de-loop to complement the sweet nature of this quilt.

Barb returned the quilt to me in short order, but it got stuck under a pile of other quilts to bind.  I\’m so happy to have her done!

This journey began in January of 2017 and was a charity event hosted by Fat Quarter Shop. The patterns were free on the Jolly Jabberand quilters were asked to donate $5 for each block pattern that they downloaded.  All proceeds went to the Make-A-Wish FoundationThank you, Fat Quarter Shop, for including me in this quilt along.

Thanks for stopping by today!  I\’ve posted links to my quilt along journey below.  I hope you all find time to get carried away quilting!
