Pumpkin Sky Pillow: Let’s feature a white pumpkin!

Hello quilting friends!  I’m popping in today to share a small project I’m working on, another Pumpkin Sky pillow. This one features a white pumpkin with butterscotch-colored flying geese on a scrumptious denim blue background. I still need to add the side borders and then quilt and bind my pillow, but I already love how it looks.

Below is a photo of my original Pumpkin Sky pillow, sewn up in a much more traditional autumn/Halloween color palette and quilted by the super talented Starlit Bear of Starlit Quilts. Isn’t her artistry just amazing? Pumpkin Sky is available on my Etsy shop and includes instructions for the wall hanging and the pillow.

That gorgeous denim blue background in my new pillow top is from the upcoming Harvest Road collection by Lella Boutique for Moda. This collection releases to stores in October, and you are going to LOVE it! I’ve designed two new patterns based on this collection, which I’ll be sharing with you in a few weeks.  But for now, here are two sneak peeks:
A progress shot of my new pattern, 9-Patch Pivot, which calls for 21 fat quarters and 1 1/4 yards of neutral. Both fabric selection and sewing are a snap for this pattern, which finishes at 66” x 77”.

And another progress shot, this time of Star Watch, a jelly-roll friendly quilt featuring stars and log cabins.  This quilt finishes at 64” x 74”.

I can hardly wait to show you these new quilts. In the meantime, I hope you all find time to get carried away quilting! Thanks for stopping by!
