Hello quilting friends! Today I want to share with you a pattern for an Easter mini quilt I designed recently. It’s something I’ve had on my heart to make for a while, and I thought I would share it with you also. I’ve titled this pattern, “He Is Risen.” For me, it is a gentle reminder of the reason for the Easter holiday. Using some of your favorite pastel scraps, you could sew this together in an afternoon. Final size is 11 ½” by 15 ½”. It is available as a free pattern on my tutorials page. I hope you enjoy it!
I also wanted to share some pictures of an Easter runner I made in 2009, just because the fabric is so pretty. I don’t recall the name of the pattern, but I did make a note in my files that the fabric was called “Easter Garden” by Edelen Wille for Marcus Fabrics. I purchased this as a kit at a local quilt shop. I think it has the most tender, vintage feel, don’t you? The lovely quilting was done by Nancy Jolene Quilting.
Thank you for stopping by the blog today for this short, but hopefully sweet, post!
