Hello quilting friends! Today I want to share with you a pattern for an Easter mini quilt I designed recently. It’s something I’ve had on my heart to make for a while, and I thought I would share it with you also. I’ve titled this pattern, “He Is Risen.” For me, it is a gentle reminder of the reason for the Easter holiday. Using some of your favorite pastel scraps, you could sew this together in an afternoon. Final size is 11 ½” by 15 ½”. It is available as a free pattern on my tutorials page. I hope you enjoy it!
I also wanted to share some pictures of an Easter runner I made in 2009, just because the fabric is so pretty. I don’t recall the name of the pattern, but I did make a note in my files that the fabric was called “Easter Garden” by Edelen Wille for Marcus Fabrics. I purchased this as a kit at a local quilt shop. I think it has the most tender, vintage feel, don’t you? The lovely quilting was done by Nancy Jolene Quilting.
Thank you for stopping by the blog today for this short, but hopefully sweet, post!

Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful pattern! I think I'm going to need to make a few of them for my family!
Oh I hope you do and I hope you enjoy it! Thanks for stopping by!
I love your pattern, it's simple yet beautiful! Just had to download it. Now to find some pastel fabrics! That runner is so super sweet and very Springy! Coming to your blog is always such a treat!! I'm just a sucker for very pretty things!!
Well thank you! You are always such a honey!! I used mostly Fig Tree. The aqua blue is actually the \”wrong\” side of an aqua blue that I thought was a tad too bright. It's kind of fun to try things like that I think. Thanks for always stopping by!
It's hard not to come to your blog when all of this prettiness pops up in my e-mail! 😉 I've been known to turn fabrics over. Sometimes the right side is just so wrong! LOL
This cross piece really touched my heart. My mom would have loved it. Thank you for the pattern, as soon as this hand heals I'm making it for myself. Your table runner & setting are lovely. Again, love your styling & photos. You have such a good eye !
ha ha ha! That is so true!!
Well thanks a lot Pam. I appreciate your kind and encouraging words!! Heal up!
Thank you for this beautiful Easter Mini Pattern. Thank you also for sharing your Easter Table Runner – it is so special. Love all the soft pastel colors in both of your projects.
Thank you for your kind words!
This is beautiful Taunja – just beautiful. Can't wait to see what you create next. I'm in awe.
Oh thank you! Maybe a pattern you and Pat can sew some day! I know you both would love it, wonderful girls that you are!
