Thank you all so much for your kind words about Barb, the owner of my local quilt shop and the talented lady who does much of my longarm quilting. As I said before, if you are ever in central Minnesota, I sure hope you will zip over to Foley and check out Quilts on Broadway! Now . . . onto the giveaway winner! Welcome New Sponsor!
I also wanted to extend a warm welcome to the newest sponsor of Carried Away Quilting, Quilt Girls! My goodness . . . I don’t think I’ve ever seen a larger collection of children’s fabric. Their focus is on darling children’s prints, panels and cloth book panels. If you are looking for a print based on a popular children’s book or movie character (both vintage and current), my bet is that Quilt Girls has it! I hope you’ll visit their site and look at their awesome selection. I am a big fan of cloth book panels . . . hmmm, maybe I see a project in my near future?
Upcoming Blog Hops
Please don’t forget to check back during the next few weeks. I’m really excited about the two blog hops for Riley Blake Designs just around the corner! On April 25 I will show you my newest projects using Elea Lutz’ latest line, “Strawberry Biscuit.” I have some cute little items to coordinate with the Coffee Time Quilt I showed you in March.
Quilt Retreat
I am off to my annual quilt retreat at the end of the week. I’m not sure if I will “plug in” and stay in touch with you all through Instagram and Facebook, or if I will completely “unplug” (all but my sewing machine and iron of course). I do know one thing, I can’t wait to be reunited with my quilting and scrapbooking friends!

Congratulations to the winner. Wonder what she'll make with it :)? Looking forward to seeing your projects on the upcoming blog hops. Have fun on your quilt retreat. I peeked in at Quilt Girls and loved seeing their fabric – especially the strawberry shortcake fabric.
Thank you for being such a faithful blog follower Sigi! I sure appreciate you! Yes, there is just a LOT of fun and sweetness to be found over at Quilt Girls! Have a great week!
I just ordered some of the Aloha Girl fabric because of your beautiful pictures. I might have had a mini charm packed away somewhere, ha! But searching for a layer cake and some charm packs. Again it will be stashed for when I can get too it. I started quilting one year ago and am just coming to finish my first quilt, at least putting the top batting and backing together! Lori Holt's Farm Girl Vintage got me started on wanting to quilt but then as the year has passed I am moving to being a big Bonnie and Camille fan, and now moving towards Fig Tree after seeing your quilts. Truthfully though I love them all! I so look forward to seeing your work and just wanted to let you know I enjoy your blog! Kaleezim IG
Thanks so much for your kind words! I love hearing your enthusiasm, and I'm with you at loving this line, and then that line, and then another line!! When I look at your IG feed, it floors me that you started quilting a year ago. (I may have told you that already!) So nice to have a partner in crime, enjoying the same things! Have a great week!
