Carried Away Quilting Patterns: a winner, a sale, and a kit!

Hello quilting friends!  Today\’s blog post is all about patterns, so let\’s get started!

Pattern Giveaway Winner

Many, many thanks to all who offered suggestions and ideas to Sylvia on her
Sewing Studio redo!  Here is a note from Sylvia:

Oh my!  It was fun to read all of your suggestions, and it was extremely difficult to choose a favorite ONE!  Thank you sooooo much everyone.  I read them over and over and already checked out some of your specific storage ideas on line.  I will use bits and pieces from all of you.  It was clear to me that you all have a heart for the spaces where you create your lovely quilting projects.  One thing popped into my mind that I had not considered before I read your posts.   My mom has my grandmother Selma\’s sewing chair, and no one has wanted to claim it.  Every time I go home I move it when I vacuum for her.  It is a chair that not all body types can sit in, so no one has wanted to take it to use in their home.  However, I think it will be perfect in my sewing room!  It is over 130 years old. (My mom is 97.)   I think she will be thrilled that I will give it a safe home and will actually use it as well.  I can\’t wait to go home for a visit and bring it back!  Thank you so much for all the practical ideas and wonderful inspiration!
Sincerely,
Sylvia

We both appreciate the time and thought you put into this.  Quilters are truly wonderful people, always willing to share! It was VERY hard to pick a winner, but Sylvia has selected Lisa H. Congratulations Lisa! Let\’s get in touch so you can pick out your free Carried Away Quilting pattern.

  1. Congratulations Lisa! All such great ideas that I plan on using them myself one day. Sylvia how lucky you are to have such a special chair for your room! I hope you will share after pics with us.

  2. Wow, I'm thrilled Sylvia liked my suggestions so much that I won your pattern giveaway, thank you. Choosing which pattern I'd like is going to be hard as they're all lovely. I feel so lucky. Thank you also to Pam L and Little Quiltsong for their congratulations; very generous of you both. I'm really looking forward to seeing pictures of Sylvia's completed sewing room. Again, thank you!
