Holiday quilt pattern roundup

Hello quilting friends!  Just popping in today to remind you of some pretty winter quilt patterns available from Carried Away Quilting. All of these patterns utilize simple, straightforward block construction ~ they are quick projects you can complete well before the holidays!

First up we have the Diamond Trail runner. This versatile charm pack runner measures at 22” x 32 1/2”. I sewed up my original using summery prints, but I teamed up with Fort Worth Fabric Studio to offer you a winter kit featuring Nordic Stitches by Wenche Wolff Hatling for Moda Fabrics. This runner also lends itself to simple straight-line quilting, making it a project you can complete at home from start to finish!

Next up we have Star Crossed Pines. This 74 1/2\” x 80 1/2\” quilt features alternating scrappy stars and two-toned trees.  I’ve sewn it using some favorite Fig Tree & Company fabrics in red, green and black, showing that you don’t necessarily need to use holiday-themed fabrics to create a Christmas quilt! But if a more traditional selection of fabrics is your heart\’s desire, then please check out the custom kit available at My Timeless Day!

And because we all love to spruce up our holiday tables, how about a scrappy star and log cabin runner? Starry Way is a 40” x 20” runner that is charm pack friendly!  Pick up your favorite holiday charm pack, a little additional fabric, and you have the makings of a fun weekend project!

Finally, here’s a quilt that will warm your home for the holidays: Welcome Home Wreath. This 48 1/2\” x 48 1/2\” quilt could be used as a wall hanging or table topper. The pattern calls for one mini charm pack and coordinating yardage, for a scrappy, homespun feel. As with Starry Way, I\’ve sewn this quilt using Juniper Berry by Basic Grey for Moda.

All of my patterns are available through my Etsy Store.  I hope you find something that inspires a holiday sewing project!

Thanks for stopping by!
