You may recognize this pattern. It\’s my Harmony pattern which I\’ve made three times now! I think the name itself makes it quite an appropriate quilt for a wedding gift, don\’t you?
This photo show my original pull of fabrics . . . the selection that was my inspiration for the quilt. Sometimes when I am having trouble narrowing down my fabrics, I put them together in groupings and take photos. That allows me to sit in a comfy chair, study a photo, and decide what I like and don\’t like about a grouping.
The pretty machine quilting on my Harmony quilt was done by Barb at Quilts on Broadway. It seems that I always have a quilt at Barb\’s shop ready to go on the machine. She must be tired of me by now! Ha!
Isn\’t that ruby red gingham binding just heavenly? That print is from the Vintage Picnic collection by Bonnie and Camille. What a pretty finishing touch for this happy quilt! For backing fabric I chose the ocean blue posies print from Fig Tree\’s Coney Island collection. I absolutely love that print. In fact, I\’m using the cream version of that print as the background fabric in my Star Spangled patriotic quilt!

Oh my goodness Taunja! What a perfectly beautiful quilt for that lucky couple! Your mix of fabrics is so nice and they make your Harmony quilt pattern sing😊. Yes, it is just perfect. Love the binding and the dotted sashing as well. ❤️💕👍🏻😘. I’m thinking I already have this pattern and know what I’m going to use for it.
Thank you so much! I hope the bride and groom feel loved when they use it! I told my niece . . . use this quilt and use it often. Movie and popcorn night, picnics, the works! Thanks for stopping by dear!
Perfect fabric choices; it's a lovely quilt.
