Most of you know how crazy I am about the Harvest Road fabric collection by Lella Boutique. Did you also know that Moda produced a quilt panel with this collection? It is aptly named “Nature” and features oversized sketches of the Harvest Road oak leaves and florals in white against a beautiful sage green backdrop.
The Nature panel measures at 57” x 69” and makes a wonderful throw quilt. I purchased my favorite navy floral from the Harvest Road collection to use for the backing. Isn’t it gorgeous?
I sent the top and backing off to Starlit Quilts for machine quilting. I absolutely love the sage green thread and quilting motif that Star selected for this project. Perfection!
I was able to bind this throw quilt in one evening and toss it on my guest bed. I’m pleased with how it looks both cozy and contemporary, and it also complements my Star Watch quilt! What a fun project this has been.

It is a beautiful panel – and your choice of backing is perfect, as is the quilting pattern used. I love the Harvest Road fabrics – and hope to start using them in a quilt top soon.
I bought the panel to use as backing for my Star Watch quilt (not yet started). I hope it's not too big!

The nice thing about the design on this panel is that you could trim it and it would still look great, or you could add borders to it and it would also look great! Would love to see your quilt when completed. That sounds like an awesome idea!!
