Last weekend I had a play date with myself in my sewing room. I pulled out my stash of Lella Boutique fabrics and admired some of my favorite prints. I rifled through my pattern basket for project ideas. I didn’t have a plan, but I felt compelled to create. For me that is the true joy of sewing. Turning myself over to the process, letting the outside world fall away, becoming happily focused on something basic and beautiful.
- Six prints from Harvest Road (Lella Boutique)
- Two prints from Farmer’s Daughter (Lella Boutique): the taupe gingham and the cream text print
- One print from Sweet Tea (Sweetwater): the navy text print
- Indigo Chambray (Moda 12051 13) which will likely be my background fabric
