Hello quilting friends! I know many of you are in stay-at-home mode due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Many of you are sewing masks, sewing gifts, sewing quilts, sewing anything just to keep your hands busy and your worries at bay. So today I’m running a giveaway with the sweet folks at Quilt Girls. We’re hoping this pillow panel and coordinating fat quarter bundle is exactly what someone needs to brighten their quarantined day!
The pillow panel from Quilt Girls is called Farm Friends, and it is absolutely darling. The animals are as cute as can be, and the colors are so yummy. The instructions for making each little pillow are printed right on the panel, which measures 23\” x 44\”. The panel features the front and back for a cow, a pig, a bunny and a sheep. If you have children at home, maybe this is a project you can sew together. What fun!
Those cute little animals could also be used as fusible applique pieces on a quilt, which got me to thinking the winner might be inspired in that direction. So, I pulled five fat quarters from my treasured stash of Pam Kitty Morning fabrics. These vibrant prints coordinate so nicely with the Farm Friends pillow panel.

Oh my gosh this would be perfect for my 4 grandchildren! I have 2 grandsons and 2 granddaughters. My birthday is the day before you pick so this my be perfect to give my grandchildren when I can see them again. They all live fairly close by and we're all going to get together and hugg and kiss when this is all over!

These animals are adorable! I would love to win so I could make the pillows for what we call \”the princess room\” – its our granddaughters room when they come to visit. Sadly, we can't be with them right now because of the virus but what a great surprise when they are able to come back over.
I would very much like to win because our neighbor, across the street, has three adorable children. These folks have been incredibly kind to us old folks (hubby and me), doing chores we can no longer do, and going above and beyond neighborliness. I would love to make something for the children out of these.
The Farm Friends panel is adorable! I would use it to applique along the border of a baby's quilt with the front of the animal on one side and the rear on the back! He is quarantined (like the rest of us) and momma is 4+ months pregnant. Momma happened to have a kit that makes animals out of felt. So far he has made an elephant. Momma took pictures and he was actually sewing. I plan to take my Bernina when I go to stay when the baby is born and this would be something we could do together. There was going to be a baby shower for her next month and I was going to fly home for the shower (from Colorado to Missouri) but that won’t happen now. Winning this would give me time to make the quilt before the baby is born. And her nursery theme is farm animals since she lives in a small town in Illinois.
