Announcements: Paper patterns, a new sponsor, and upcoming blog tours!

Happy Monday, quilting friends!  I have a few announcements to share with you today, and I\’m pretty excited about each of them.

Paper Patterns

I\’m pleased to now offer four of my Carried Away Quilting patterns in paper format. They have been professionally printed on a nice glossy stock and are full color throughout. Patterns are available for retail purchase at these wonderful quilt shops:

If you are a quilt shop interested in carrying my patterns, they are being distributed wholesale by Checker Distributing.  You can also contact me directly if you need more information!

Welcome new sponsor!

I\’m tickled to have a new sponsor who hails from my neighboring state of South Dakota! My Timeless Day is a new quilt shop offering a lovely assortment of fabric, patterns, books and notions. Shop owner Allison Cotton (could her last name be any more perfect?) announced her grand opening on July 4!  They are currently running a grand opening special of 20% off your first purchase!  I took advantage of this great deal to reward myself with a book I\’ve been wanting, \”Pretty Playtime Quilts\” by Elea Lutz, published by It\’s Sew Emma.

My Timeless Day is also hosting a fabulous giveaway on Instagram. Visit them on Instagram at @mytimelessday and enter before July 17!

Upcoming blog tours

I hope you\’ll stop back in the coming weeks, as I am participating in three blog hops.
On July 19, I will share my projects for Tasha Noel\’s Blog Tour featuring her new Christmas line, \”Pixie Noel\” for Riley Blake Designs.  This fabric is so sweet and dear (and also deer), it is sure to put a smile on your face.  Here\’s a sneak peek of one of my projects:

Then on July 27, I am one of several bloggers sharing projects from Sherri Falls\’ terrific new book, \”Holiday Wishes\” published by It\’s Sew Emma.  Fat Quarter Shop is hosting this event every Wednesday during the month of July.  Do you have your holiday sewing projects planned yet?

Finally, on August 10, I will share my project for Elea Lutz\’ blog hop featuring her new line, \”Apple Farm\” for Penny Rose Fabrics.  Elea\’s done it again, creating another cherished line featuring vintage characters!  These fabrics have an autumn/back-to-school feel to me.  Here\’s a snapshot of my fabric bundle from Penny Rose.  I\’m very excited about what I\’ll be sewing with Apple Farm!

I would like to close by sincerely thanking my blog sponsors.  They support Carried Away Quilting in more ways than one, and I\’ve come to know each of them to be terrific companies run by top-notch people. If you have a spare moment, please visit their websites by clicking on their banner ads in my left sidebar.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Here\’s hoping you ALL get carried away quilting often!
