MY CLOTH BOOK PROJECTS:
Quilt Girls has an amazing selection of cloth panel books, including classic/vintage stories, ABC/123 primers, holiday stories, and contemporary characters. I’ve made three cloth books in the past and blogged about them. You can read about those projects here:
HOW TO ENTER:
To enter, simply leave a comment telling me why you\’d like to make a cloth book. Be sure to include your email address. The giveaway is open to US mailing addresses only due to the high rate of international shipping. Comments are open through 1:00 pm (CST) on Sunday, July 29. At that time, I will do a random drawing and announce the winners.

Our quilt club has several groups that donate comfort quilts to the ill in our community, to the women’s shelter, to the Veterans hospital, and we even make doggie beds for the animal shelters. We use our money from the boutique sales to buy materials for making the comfort quilts.
Adorable! I love to read and believe that it's never too early to start reading to a child so I think these are perfect for a little one to have. I would make it for a new great, grand niece.
LOVE making cloths books. Made may for my four children and now I am making for my grands!
I love those book panels but I'd rather make a quilt out of them. I just think that makes their quilt so personal.

I had forgotten until I saw your post that I made a cloth book for my daughter many, many years ago. It would be fun to make one for her daughter but at two she might be too old. I would like to win one of these panels and make one for my Granddaughters cousin who will be born any day now.
I made several cloth books for my daughter when she was young and used them again for my son six years later. The part I loved most was being able to throw them in the washer when they got messed up somehow!! I would love to make some again!

I usually take these cloth book panels and turn them into a quilt. I belong to a quilt ministry and one of the places we supply is the children's hospital. I keep the panels in order, make additional blocks in complimentary colors, border the pages with colors, etc. Anything to make them fun and bright for the kids.
I have never made a cloth book before. However. I would like to gift a little niece with this book. These look so soft and isn’t that Rudolf adorable.
I made a cloth book for my (first i only have one right now ) grandson for Easter. I was so excited to see the panels in the quilt shop. Many MANY years ago these panels of such you could purchase at places like Walmart (but not quilt quality) but quilting has come a long way with pre-printed panels and it makes such nice gifts. I still have some of those panels purchased many years ago that are still fun but no longer available in stores. I really need to do something with these as well.
My husband is a trucker and I’m with him on the road most of the time. I’ve been wanting to make a quilt for my new grand-nephew but here it is almost two years later and I just haven’t been able to get the hang of quilting in a moving vehicle 😬. I saw this adorable book and think it just might be the perfect project for me to try sewing on the road again. If an astronaut can make a quilt block in space, surely I can get the hang of sewing in a truck!
