It was nearly ten years ago that I met Allison Kemner, shop owner of My Timeless Day in Canton, SD. We became “quilty friends” through the Instagram quilting community. I was just starting my blog and pattern design business, and Allison was starting up a quilt shop . . . first out of her home and eventually in a location in downtown Canton. Over the years, we provided each other with support, advice and encouragement. Two summers ago, I was so happy to meet her in person when a friend and I visited her beautiful shop in Canton. I highly encourage you to stop in if you are anywhere near Canton . . . or make it a destination trip. My Timeless Day has all of the latest and greatest collections and notions, backed by Allison’s vast knowledge and caring demeanor.
I have been blessed once again by knowing Allison, as she has connected with another lovely lady in the quilting community, Jamey Strom of Grace & Piece Co. Jamey is a former teacher turned stay-at-home mom. She is also a quilter and graphic designer, and she has done social media work for My Timeless Day. Recently Jamey launched her own business, Grace & Piece Co. Jamey has designed a beautiful collection of stationary, cards and gifts geared toward quilters.
Jamey recently sent me some samples of her products, and they are beautiful! The paper and printing are of the highest quality, and I love Jamey’s striking designs. As you can see in my pictures, the notecards are pretty on both the front and the back. The vinyl sticker is lovely too! (I’m going to use it on my water bottle.) The tall skinny notepad comes with magnets on the back. As I was growing up, my mom owned a print shop, which makes me kind of a fuss budget about paper products. Jamey’s products are wonderful! As you will see on her website, her prices are also very reasonable.
