  1. Love how your surround your home with \”wrapped\” love – either snuggling in the basement with one of your many quilts or viewing your incredible talent displayed throughout! Your quilting is a WORK OF HEART!

  2. I'm so glad I 'found' you, Taunja! Love your decorating ideas. Would you please tell me the size of your chicken wire frame and the quilt block in it?Thanks so much,Gail

  3. Love, love how you are decorating with the quilts. I just found your website, and am in LOVE. What is the name of some of your patterns, was hoping they would be underneath the picture.. Love your style.

  4. Oh gosh Kelly. That would be a good idea! Some day I will go back and add captions to those photos. For now, all of my original patterns are on my \”Patterns\” tab. Thanks for stopping by and for your kind words!

  5. Beautiful quilts displayed in a beautiful home! Love that antique cabinet with all the quilts inside (she writes as she wipes the drool from her mouth)!I am making your Sweetly Scalloped quilt right now but never saw it done in Halloween prints before and just love it!!

  6. Can you tell me what patterns you used for the Green and Red wallhanging, the orange and black wall hanging. Also what patterns you used for the red car with a christmas tree and the red and white leaf wallhanging on the white window? Thanks for any help you can give me.

  7. Hi Patricia! The red and green wall hanging is the free Moda Love Pattern. Info can be found here:http://carriedawayquilting.blogspot.com/2016/12/moda-love-quilt-for-christmas_6.htmlThe car pillow was a pattern originally part of FQS's Snapshots Quilt Along, with a variation on the top of the car from Grey Dogwood Studios. This post includes links to the patterns:http://carriedawayquilting.blogspot.com/2015/11/christmas-quilts-tis-season.htmlFinally, the red and white leaf is a pattern from Lori Holt's book, Farm Girl Vintage. Here's a link to info about that. :)http://carriedawayquilting.blogspot.com/2015/07/fun-with-low-volume.htmlThanks so much for stopping by the blog! best wishes!

  8. Hello! Love your blog and IG. Question about displaying quilts…how did you hang the quilts without a rod? I can’t tell by the picture.

  9. Most of the quilts where you CAN'T see the rod there is actually a rod, but I've used a small wooden dowel from the hardware store, rather than a decorate rod. I always make sure my sleeve is 1\” shorter than the sides (on both sides) so that I can hang it with a \”blind\” rode (dowel) if I want to.Occasionally on a very small mini quilt, like 12\” x 12\”, I just tack it directly to the wall with very tiny, thin brad nails. Thanks for stopping by! 🙂

  10. Thank you! I made mine similar to yours, over a year ago (oops!) and really like it on my wall. Working on the Window Garden quilt now. You continue to inspire me!

  11. Hello, I just want to let you know that I have used some of your images in a blog post. I have linked each one back to you and also encouraged readers to visit your site to see the lovely ways you decorate with quilts. I hope this is ok with you. Please visit the post and let me know if there is anything you would like changed, added or deleted. The blog is called An English Paper Piecing Journey and can be found at https://forestmoordesigns.wordpress.com The post is called Mini Quilts – What is the Purpose?

  12. For your car pillow, Do you have the dimensions for the tree flying geese? If I remember correctly this is from the snapshots quilt with FQS, but I would love to put the tree instead of the surf board. Let me know if you have those dimensions!!
